Numbers that mattered, Match 29
2 Number of wickets to fall in first over of Rajasthan’s innings. This provided only the second such instance in this IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders had suffered the similar fate against Deccan Chargers on March 12.
2 Dinesh Karthik (69 & 1 ct, 2st) became the second 'keeper in IPL to perform the all-round feat of scoring a fifty and effecting three dismissals in the same match. Parthiv Patel is the only other 'keeper to do so (vs Kings XI Punjab in 2008).
4 Number of catches taken by David Warner on the field. With this he equalled Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most catches in an innings against Kolkata in 2008.
6 Shane Warne registered his sixth duck in the IPL – most by any batsman in tournament’s history. Interestingly in the previous match against Chennai Super Kings, he was also run-out without facing a ball.
35 Number of dismissals effected by Dinesh Karthik in all IPL games – most by any 'keeper. He was earlier at level with Adam Gilchrist with 32 dismissals. Karthik’s 13 stumpings are also the most by any 'keeper in the IPL.
53 Runs conceded by Shaun Tait – most expensive figures by any bowler in a four-over spell in this IPL. R Sathish and S Sreesanth shared the previous record with 51 runs.
67 Delhi registered a comfortable 67-run win – Delhi’s biggest win in this IPL. Interestingly, Delhi Daredevils had registered a 40-run win in their last game against Kolkata Knight Riders.
