Result: Chennai Super Kings won by 24 runs
Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 165/4 in 20 overs with contributions from each batsman. Mumbai Indians started the run chase well but Tendulkar retired hurt due to extreme heat and cramp. Middle order failed to perform and some brilliant fielding restricted them in 141 runs.
Raina was the Man of the Match for his cameo, Vijay got the Kamaal catch of the match award and
Bhajji got the maximum sixes award.

2 Mumbai Indians opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Sachin Tendulkar have become the second opening pair to aggregate 300 runs in IPL 2010. The pair emulated Royal Challenger Bangalore’s Jacques Kallis and Manish Pandey, who have aggregated 381 runs from seven innings at an average of 65.17.
3 Sachin Tendulkar became the third batsman in this edition to retire hurt. Others to suffer this fate are Harbhajan Singh and VVS Laxman. Interestingly, Tendulkar is the only one to come back and resume his innings.
6 Wickets lost by Mumbai Indians in 32 balls with the addition of a mere 27 runs between Tendulkar retiring hurt and resuming his innings.
150 Sachin Tendulkar hit his 150th four in Twenty20s.
