Chennai Superkings vs Rajasthan Royals (3rd April 2010)

Result : Chennai Super Kings won by 23 runs

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first. Murali Vijay scored  127 from 56 balls with well supported 62 from 34 balls by Morkel. Superkings scored 246/5 in 20 overs, the highest IPL score so far. Royals chased the target with superb batting from Naman Ojha (94 not out) and Watson (60) but failed to win the match due to the superb spell from Doug Bollinger (15 run and 2 wickets in 4 over). Bollinger was also instrumental in taking a superb catch in the deep to dismiss Yusuf Pathan.

Murali Vijay was the Man of the Match for his magical 127 runs in just 56 balls, studded with 11 huge sixes and 8 scintillating boundaries. Doug Bollinger got the 'Kamaal catch of the match' award.
