6 Praveen Kumar became sixth bowler to claim a hat-trick in IPL when he dismissed Damien Martyn, Sumit Narwal and Paras Dogra off second, third and fourth legitimate balls of his third over. This was the first hat-trick for Royal Challengers Bangalore and also the first in this edition of IPL. This is the seventh occasion a hat-trick has been taken in IPL history, with Yuvraj claiming one twice.
