Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field first. Rajasthan Royals scored 183/5 in 20 overs through some fine stroke playing by Fazal and Voges. Chasing the target, KXIP scored only 152 runs all out in 19.1 overs. Sangakara and Bisla scored quick runs intially but rest batsman gain failed after their departure.
Adam Voges got the "Man of the Match" award, while Fazal got the 'Kamaal catch' award.
Bisla awarded for the 'Maximum sixes' scored in the match.
