Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat first. After soft dismissal of Jayasuriya early, Sachin and Tiwary steady the innings. But a fine over from Vinay Kumar in middle changed the game. Pollard and Zahir tried to contribute towards the end completing 20 overs for 151 runs. RCB started the chase with another fine innings from Kallis and quick shots of Manish Pandey. Though they lost few towards the end but won the game in last over.
Jacques Kallis is the Man of the Match for his unbeaten match winning knock of 66, Rahul Dravid gets the Kamaal catch award. Manish Pandey gets the award for the maximum sixes.
