Batting first Rajasthan Royals scored 167/8 in 20 overs. The main highlight of the innings was the knock of 45 in just 36 balls by Jhunjunwala. Chasing 168 to win KKR was able to score only 134/5 in 20 overs. Hodge and Pujara put up a good 50 run stand to give them some hope in the middle overs but once Ganguly and Shah took over from them, the run rate dipped suddenly. None of the batsman tried to play big shots handing over 34 run win to RR. It's the first victory of Rajasthan Royals in the tournament.
