Mumbai vs Rajasthan Royals (13th March 2010)

Result: Mumbai Indians won by 4 runs

Mumbai Indians have won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 212/ 6, their highest total ever in the IPL. After an initial quick fire by Jayasuriya and Sachin, Rayudu & Saurabh Tiwari rallied the innings and  scored their maiden IPL fifty supported by the contribution from Tare & Mclaren.

What an innings from Yusuf Pathan !!! The second Indian to score a fastest century in IPL (100 in 37 balls, 9 fours and 8 sixes). But Malinga again done the work for the Mumbai Indians. Few run outs and good bowling last couple of overs helped MI to beat Rajasthan Royals in 4 runs. Really a high adrenaline T20 match to watch.

Naman Ojha gets the 'Catch of the match' award. Yusuf Pathan is the Man of the match for his blistering innings also gets the maximum sixers award.

Numbers that mattered, Match  2

Sangakkara did return to resume his innings, but Thornely did not like Harbhajan.
